Currently testing the IXID System. Please ignore any errors and do not consider it safe or stable in any way. Everything
will be dealt with in time. Also, please do remember that, until the IXID system has been successfully deployed, the
user database will be reset each day.
First phase of deployment of IXID has ended and, as we are proud to announce, is successful. On our "to-do"
list from now on are: correctly and completely define how a user should look like (which is why we are resetting the
user database every day), creating a self-keep-alive mechanism for the IXID application, integrating it completely
with the Ixian Corp site and, last but not least, activating e-mail validation on it. When all these phases are complete,
the Ixian Corp site will suffer a noticeable change in functionality.
Animus
Online - Our most important project, Animus Online will become a leading online
strategy and RPG game. Ixian Corp is scheduled to launch it some time within the summer of 2008,
and it will benefit from nearly all of Ixian Corp's side projects (like the IXID or the IXchange).
You will be able to create one or more kings according to your wishes and imagination, you will
be able to lead your armies on a strategic map or, should you and your opponent wish, you will
be able to lead your army in battle yourself. And while you are not concerned with the affairs
of your kingdoms, help your kings gather more battle scars to take pride in through dungeons, mazes
and fiery pits of doom in the RPG mode. Playing the game requires nothing but a browser, an Internet
connection and exactly the ammount of time you wish to invest in it. It is designed to be free for
play, and no fee will ever be charged for simply participating in the game. As a novelty, Ixian
Corp does not impose the same limitation as many other online games do, and that is having one
player account only. Through the new IXID project, you will be able to play with many accounts,
all managed through one single IXID account. Customize each king by selecting his race, alignment,
magic sphere and many stats and skills to choose from.

IXID Identity
Provider - A secondary project suddenly turned VIP (Very Impressive
Project), IXID will be Ixian Corp's identity provider. Ixian Corp has rejected the basics such as
OpenID or other online identity providers on grounds that they are both too difficult to implement
and magage for what they really offer AND they are completely unfit for Ixian Corp's projects. As
such, we have decided to create our own identity provider for all sites that are either owned by
or affiliated with Ixian Corp. IXID is written in almost pure C# code and will clearly be available
for any ASP.NET site that wishes to use it as a provider. Also, it will be used as the main login
provider for our topmost project, Animus Online. And imagine that: Tens of thousands of players,
each with a unique account and e-mail address, all available on your website at your fingertips,
and the only thing you have to do is to implement a simple MembershipProvider-derived object and
announce your willingness to participate in IXID. Features will include a complete trust-based
relationship creation engine, a login system that gives one almost instant access to users and,
furthermore, if your application hasn't been ranked as trusted enough to perform more delicate
user actions (such as change password or delete user), the provider will offer you automatically
the possibility to redirect users towards the actual IXID pages that allow them to perform those
actions, and then return to your page without losing trace of where the user was.
Since the IXID has become a top priority here at Ixian Corp, you will get to see it before any
other project is completed. Tune in once in a while and see the news about it. You will also be
able to test it right here, as the Ixian Corp website will be the first to actually implement the
test version of it.
