What coding services does Ixian Corp offer?

Ixian Corp offers a wide variety of coding practices using the following languages:

• C
• C++
• C#
• C++/CLI
• Visual Basic
• IDL
• SQL

In any of these languages, the resulting code will be native, meaning that no dependencies will be used unless expressly specified.

For what platforms/operating systems does Ixian Corp build code?

For the moment, the supported platforms are x86, x64 and IA64.

We plan to add coding personnel for other platforms (ARM, Sy and Motorola, for instance) in the future.

As for operating systems, right now the code we build is for Windows (all editions 2000 and later), Linux (limited development support) and Windows Mobile (Windows CE included).

Same as with platforms, we do plan to expand coding capabilities to include other operating systems as well.

Why does not Ixian Corp provide PHP code?

There are a few reasons why we do not work with PHP:

1. PHP is a scripting code; performance in the case of PHP is dramatically decreased on heavy-duty servers as compared to its managed/native counterparts
2. Being a scripting language, memory management for actual memory-created objects in PHP is a killer; we might as well build our very own operating system and implement separate memory management there, as with PHP, this is essentially what we're supposed to do if we are to create a good application
3. PHP code does not build, therefore whoever sees it sees the source code itself; since there is no way of actually protecting PHP code, we consider it to be totally unfit for commercial software

Ixian Corp does not have any plans for future development in PHP.

How does Ixian Corp work?

Ixian Corp's work is donation-based.

Any donation will be used to cover the costs of certain parts of the projects that we are currently working on. Anybody who wishes to donate enough money can order a project of its own. The project will bear the sign of Ixian Corp on it and will be sent to the person ordering it without any licensing terms (so that the recipient can license it himself, should that be considered necessary).

Any project will end the day its binaries are received and confirmed by the person ordering it. Any subsequent action on the source code will incur its own costs.

Ixian Corp offers the coded software as a symbol of gratefulness towards the donor, and therefore does not and cannot offer any warranty on it or its function. Also, Ixian Corp does not and will not check the way its software is used, and cannot be held responsible for the way its software behaves (whether intentionally or not).
